R Engineering (rEng) is a 1-year program to help programmers and software engineers from all backgrounds reach their full potential. Participants start out as short-term employees (STE) with the potential to convert to full-time employees. The goal of the program is to help rEng participants accelerate their professional growth and build skills that they can use for the rest of their career. FB Rotational Product Management Complete three 6-month long rotations through products at our Menlo Park, Seattle, New York or London offices. This program is for those with non-traditional professional backgrounds and trains them to become PMs, with the goal of sharpening their skills and reactivating their careers. At the end of the program, participants select which product to focus on. Participants are FTE for the duration of the program. Product Management RPM is suited for individuals completely new to the product manager (PM) function. Sourcer Development Program The Sourcer Development Program trains professionals with to start careers as sourcers on a 12-month contract. After a 1-week in-person training and 12 weeks of weekly SDP workshops, participants spend the remainder of their contract as a sourcer leveraging on-the-job training, with the potential to convert to FTE at the end of the program. Return to Work The Return to Work Program is a 16-week immersive program in various Facebook offices, designed for those who have left the workforce for 2 years or longer and are looking to re-enter the workforce full-time. Our aim is to attract candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences from historically underrepresented groups and/or those who have had non-traditional careers including, but not limited to, candidates from non-tech industries, veterans or candidates starting second careers.
