Facebook’s Hub, a 12,000 sq ft. work, events, and education space is a co-designed vision. It grew out of a desire, shared by Facebook and residents, for more opportunities to connect, work, and learn in a way that builds professional development and personal relationships.
The (physical) Hub will be a community workspace where people can meet, collaborate, and innovate. With multiple room types, including two large training rooms, bookable conference rooms and smaller 2-person touchdown rooms, the Hub offers the community a place to work, meet and grow.
The space will feature individual desks, communal work areas, lockers for personal items, a nursing mother’s room as well as an all gender restroom. To promote community and new connections, the center of the Hub will be a kitchen where users can take a break and grab a quick coffee or chat with a team member over lunch.
