The Year Up Program is one of Facebook’s longest running Career Pathway initiatives to provide an on ramp for early in career talent (18-24) from local and under-represented communities where we operate Facebook offices. The partnership creates career pathways into Tech for Young Adults without college degrees and/or non-traditional backgrounds. As Facebook continues to grow and build its business, we are committed to hire local talent to fill roles through our Year Up Partnership.
We partner with a nationally renowned organization, Year Up, to support local youth who often face barriers when applying to college and top companies. At the Facebook on-campus Community Hub, Year Up has a learning and development center, providing five months of in-class learning and six months of internship experiences. With Year Up’s assistance, we build the foundation not only to obtain employment, but also to thrive as an employee.

Year Up is committed to ensuring equitable access to economic opportunity, education, and justice for all young adults—no matter their background, income, or zip code. Employers face a growing need for talent while millions are left disconnected from the economic mainstream. These inequities only further perpetuate.
